The Pittsburgh Penguins made a roster move on Saturday as they traded a former first round pick to the Chicago Blackhawks.
Defenseman Olli Maatta, who was drafted by the team with the 22nd overall pick in 2012, was dealt for forward Dominik Kahun and a fifth round pick in this year’s draft.
Maatta was part of the last two Stanley Cup championship teams, and was the fourth longest tenured Penguin going into this offseason. Kahun just finished up his first NHL season, and played in all 82 regular season games.
