Police believe a Butler teenager was drunk when he drove his vehicle through several yards…hitting someone’s car, a couple mailboxes and crashing into a home’s porch in the process.
Clinton Bonetti Jr., 19, of Butler, was arrested late Monday night on suspicion of DUI, and for allegedly committing several other traffic offenses, according to Butler Township Police.
The incident allegedly started at 11 p.m. on Monday while Bonetti was traveling on South Eberhart Road in Butler Township. According to police, Bonetti missed a curve and drove his Dodge Magnum into the Heartland Estates housing plan- at first entering the plan through the rear of two properties on Alyssum Drive before coming out onto the road surface of Alyssum Drive.
“Bonetti drove through a cul-de-sac and through two more yards before striking a vehicle parking in a driveway at Heartland Drive,” according to a Butler Township Police Department news release.
Bonetti then briefly got back on the road on South Magnolia Drive- and then left the road again- hitting a couple mailboxes and grazing the side of a porch.
Police say Bonetti still wasn’t done. He allegedly then reversed his car and attempted to flee through another cul-de-sac on South Magnolia Drive, onto a driveway, and into another backyard-where his vehicle ended up crashing into a tree.
DUI charges against Bonetti are pending the results of a blood test, according to police.
