With even more rain expected Wednesday and Thursday, Butler County now remains under a Flash Flood Watch through Thursday evening.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service Office in Pittsburgh says repeated periods of heavy rainfall are possible through tomorrow…and because the ground is already so saturated…flash flooding is possible.
On Tuesday, at least three roads in Butler County were shut down due to flooding.
A few portions of Route 38 (Oneida Valley Road) in Center and Oakland townships was closed Tuesday afternoon and evening for flooding.
A portion of Henricks Road in Summit Township was also closed.
A portion of Yellow Creek Road in Lancaster Township was shut down due to flooding on Tuesday, but has since reopened.
