If you’re planning on getting out an enjoying what- should be- a nice weekend, be careful taking to the local rivers, streams and lakes.
The influx of rain has led many waterways to be at their brims- or higher.
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission has issued a temporary restriction at Conneaut Lake in Crawford County. Boats are temporarily limited to slow, no-wake speeds on the lake. The speed estriction will remain in place until further notice.
Officials say water levels are high and the concern is safety.
The same goes for waterways closer to home- including the Connoquenessing Creek and Moraine State Park’s Lake Arthur.
