U.S. downs Spain in World Cup Second Round

The United States defeated Spain 2-1 in the opening game of the second round of the Women’s World Cup Monday in France. Megan Rapinoe scored twice, converting two penalty kicks, that sends the defending world champions into the quarterfinals.
