After a great deal of effort, a group home for female veterans will officially open later this week.
Robin’s Home is holding an open house on Friday, July 28 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at their newly-remodeled location at 401 East Pearl Street. The public is invited to attend and learn more about how this new program will help local residents.
Butler businessman Dennis Baglier purchased the home last year and volunteers have been working on renovations since so that the home can house up to 10 residents.
The Butler City Zoning Board gave approval for the special-use request in March following a public hearing.
