Elliott grabs victory at the Charlotte Roval/four eliminated from post-season.

Chase Elliott took the Cup Series win the the Charlotte “Roval” course Sunday. Elliott recovered from an earlier crash for the victory which guaranteed his advancement into the second round of the playoffs. Alex Bowman was the runner-up and moved onto the next round of the playoffs. Ryan Newman, Aric Almirola, Kurt Busch and Erik Jones were eliminated from the championship contention.
