Nell L. (Dugan) Langland, age 89, of Butler, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, February 7, 2020.
Beloved wife for 62 years of the late Paul L. Langland; devoted mother of Therese (Francis) Inzana, Lou Ann Rosellini (Mike Englert) and Michele (Alan) Stockard; sister of Stan (Peggy) Dugan, Connie Wiles, Terry (Beverlee) Dugan, the late Paula Forsythe, Paul Dugan and Thomas Dugan; mother-in-law to the late Jaime Rosellini, and sister-in-law to the late Sharon Dugan; loving grandmother of Jason (Rhonda) Inzana, Eric (Erin) Inzana, Ann Marie Inzana, Amanda (Jason) Adams, Andrea (Jake) Cuffman, Annie Rosellini and Austin (Larry) Mazza-Stockard; also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Nell was a 1947 graduate of Butler High School and was employed by the Butler Hospital for several years before becoming a lifelong homemaker. She was extremely proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed traveling to Ireland as well as many other destinations across America. She was an enthusiastic Pittsburgh Pirates fan, enjoyed crossword and sudoku puzzles and was an avid reader. She loved to create beautiful works of art by quilting, knitting, crocheting, cross stitching, embroidering, needlepoint, and hooking rugs.
Friends will be welcomed at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler on Tuesday, February 11 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean Street in Butler, Wednesday, February 12 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
