Dorothy was also very active with the Greenwood Robinettes Drum and Baton Corp. She held many positions throughout the 30 years she was affiliated with the corp. She often said, ” It just got in your blood and I couldn’t leave.” Dorothy also enjoyed being a brownie leader when her girls were young. She played cards with her high school friends for over 60 years.
From birth, she was a lifetime member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler. She volunteered and was involved in all aspects of church life. Dorothy taught Sunday School for over 50 years and participated in Junior Lutherans as well as Bible School.
