Rob Gronkowski is returning to the NFL after retiring last March – and will join former New England teammate Tom Brady in Tampa Bay. The 30-year old tight end has one year and nearly $10 million remaining on his contract with the Patriots – who have agreed to trade Gronkowski to the Buccaneers. New England will receive a fourth-round draft pick, while Tampa Bay also gets a seventh-round pick.
Brady has thrown twice as many touchdowns to Gronkowski than any other player – 78 total from 2010 to 2018. Brady signed a two-year $50 million contract with Tampa Bay as a free agent last month.
The NFL Draft begins with the first round tomorrow night.
