The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank once again distributed food at the Big Butler Fairgrounds on Tuesday.
The drive-up distribution ran from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers told our newsroom that about 650 vehicles were each given at least 50 pounds of food.
Everyone attending this distribution remained in their vehicles at all times as volunteers loaded vehicles. This event was organized in conjunction with Alliance for Nonprofit Resources, the Friends of the Bantam Jeep Association, and the Butler County Sheriff’s office.
Those still in need of food assistance should visit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank website.
