If your hair is shaggy or those gray roots are showing—today you’ll finally be able to get your hair cut.
In the green phase, salons and barbershops are all opening their doors and Nancy Gifford of Double Image Styling Salon says they’ve taken all the precautions.
“We put up barriers anywhere our customers couldn’t be six feet from each other. We’ve used a lot of plexiglass and clear shower curtains that are movable in between stations,” Gifford said. “We’ve done as much as we can.”
Giffords says the stylists will be wearing masks and shields at her salon. She also says appointments are required—and they don’t have any availability today.
“We have well over 100 people are booked during our 12 hour shift.”
According to Governor Tom Wolf, any trip to a hair salon must be by appointment.
