Extra money will now be available to unemployed workers in Pennsylvania.
State Labor Secretary Jerry Oleksiak says eligible unemployed workers will receive an extra $300 per week beginning this Thursday.
“Everybody who is currently receiving unemployment, with very few exceptions, will qualify for that benefit. You must be receiving a minimum of $100 in unemployment compensation benefits to receive that extra $300.”
The Trump administration approved these payments as a replacement for the $600-a-week benefits that expired at the end of July.
