The City of Butler will use money received from a recent grant to help ensure as many local residents as possible are included in the census count.
City Council has approved a motion to purchase up to four tablet devices in the amount of not more than $2,000 obtained through a 2020 Regional Census Mini Grant.
The devices will be ordered as soon as possible in order to allow for people at the Butler City Farmer’s Market to be registered for the census.
Anyone who has not yet participated in the census is encouraged to do so either in person or online before the deadline at the end of this month.
