The county is extending the deadline and revising opportunities to distribute more CARES Act funding to non-profits and small businesses.
Officials say the updated polices will allow those organizations to apply for financial relief through the county for funding to cover expenses not previously reimbursed or pending coverage by other CARES recovery funding.
The grant program covers things like payroll, health benefits, rent, and utilities among others.
The application deadline was also extended until September 25th.
