A couple of local organizations will be presenting free online programs dealing with important topics.
The first presentation is a webinar on Zoom scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday titled (In)Human Trafficking. This free program is presented by the Victim Outreach Information Center, or VOICe, in collaboration with the SRU Women’s Center. A panel of experts will lead a discussion focused on local connections as well as digital and cyber dangers.
The next virtual educational program is a class for family and friends of people with mental illnesses organized by the Butler County chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. This free eight week program on Zoom does not begin until next Wednesday, September 30th but the deadline to register with NAMI is this Wednesday (9/23).
