Monday Night Football:
–The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the New England Patriots 26-10 in a game postponed from Sunday. It was the 13th victory in a row for the defending Super Bowl champions, as the Chiefs improved to 4-0. The Patriots fell to 2-2.
–Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdown passes to lead the Green Bay Packers to a 30-16 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in the second game of the night. The Falcons are off to an 0-4 start for the first time since 1999.
The NFL put new coronavirus protocols in place Monday after the outbreak within the Tennessee Titans organization and other positive tests that forced multiple changes to the Week 4 schedule. Commissioner Roger Goodell told teams that discipline could now include loss of draft picks or even forfeit of a game if violations result in the spread of the virus, adjustments to the schedule or other league impact. The new requirements include a ban on gatherings outside the club facility and implementing a video monitoring system to ensure compliance with protocols. The Steelers had their game with Tennessee postponed after the Titans coronavirus outbreak.
Ten Las Vegas Raiders were fined for attending a charity event hosted by one of the players that violated numerous virus protocols.
The winless Houston Texans have fired head coach and general manager Bill O’Brien. Houston is off to an 0-4 start following a 31-23 loss to Minnesota Sunday.
