The Butler County Commissioners have appointed a Cranberry Township resident as the newest trustee of Butler County Community College.
Robi Lombardo will complete the term of Nancy Staible which expires in June of 2023. Staible stepped down in June after serving nearly eight years.
Lombardo is a Regional External Affairs Consultant with FirstEnergy – West Penn Power/Penn Power where he has worked for the past 22 years. Lombardo is a liaison between the utility and 146 municipalities, 19 state or federal elected officials, 18 school districts, three colleges or universities, and a variety of other local officials and organizations.
Lombardo also devotes time as a volunteer to the Community Development Corporation of Butler County, the United Ways of Butler and Beaver Counties, the Butler County Chamber of Commerce, the Butler County Community Organizations Active In Disaster, and others.
Lombardo holds a duel bachelors degree in marketing research and management from Slippery Rock University.
