The South Butler School District community is mourning the loss of a high school student who died over the weekend.
17-year-old Robert Kotchey died in an ATV accident this past weekend in Indiana County. The details surrounding his death are unclear at this point.
In an email to parents, district officials say counselors will be available to meet with any student or staff member who needs support.
The staff at the Center for Community Resources will be offering assistance too.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help pay for funeral costs. The fundraiser, which started Sunday, has already raised over $11,000.
