With Butler County’s mail-in ballots still not counted yet, a number of state house races still can’t be called but there are incumbents with fairly substantial leads.
In the 8th District, Republican Tim Bonner had about a 7,000 vote lead over Democrat Phil Heasley in Butler County, but that district spans into Mercer.
In the 11th District, Republican Marci Mustello has a substantial lead over Democrat Sam Doctor around 15,000 votes.
In the 12th District, Republican Daryl Metcalfe owns a 14,000 vote lead over Daniel Smith.
In the 14th District, Jim Marshall appears set for reelection.
That also is the case in the 64th District for R. Lee James.
Republican Aaron Bernstine has the lead in the 10th District, which spans Lawrence, Beaver, and Butler Counties.
