The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference named Ben Matos as its new Director of Strategic Communications, Monday. Matos is currently the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Originally from Stroudsburg, PA, he received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Slippery Rock University. He also spent time at The Rock working in the athletic communications office for six years before taking on the position at Arkansas.
Matos will begin his new position with the PSAC December 7th.
