Cranberry Township is reminding families who are trying to figure out school and work schedules in a world upended by COVID that they continue to accept students into an educational program.
The Kids Club Before and After School Program has expanded this year to include Kids Club Plus which provides adult supervision for students in kindergarten through 6th grade weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In light of the Seneca Valley School District’s recent decision to switch to a cohort learning model beginning Wednesday, this program is able to provide child supervision. Kids Club Plus is operated by the Cranberry Township Parks and Recreation Department using health protocols to protect students and staff.
The Plus section of this program during the day includes schoolwork time with IT support for virtual assignments as well as activities, crafts, and gym/exercise time.
