Mario V. Guadagni, age 96, of Butler, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
Born in Butler on November 12, 1924, he was a son of the late Arturo and Concettina Catalano Guadagni.
He worked as an Inspector at Armco Steel.
Mario was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, where he served for many years as an usher and a Eucharistic Minister.
He belonged to the Italian Society of Butler and American Legion Post 778.
He is survived by one son, Joseph Guadagni and his wife, Jackie, of Butler; two grandchildren, Joseph Guadagni II, of Butler, and Jenna Guadagni, of Georgia; and two great-grandchildren, Trey Guadagni and Stella Gornail.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances G. Mancini Guadagni, who passed away March 20, 2019; his daughter, Nancy Guadagni, who passed away February 23, 1966; and his brother, Armando “Coke” Guadagni, who passed away October 19, 2016.
Funeral services and burial were private.
