With Christmas less than a week away, the Pennsylvania DUI Association is encouraging motorists to have a safe holiday.
December is National Drunk and Drug Impaired Driving Prevention Month so Operation Safe Holiday is now underway through New Years Day.
Even though the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that staying home is the best way to protect against the dangerous spread of COVID-19, many people are still expected to spend more time traveling than they would without the holiday.
Law enforcement will focus on making sure drivers are not operating vehicles while impaired. Those who are found to be doing so will be arrested.
