A local lawmaker will convene an informational meeting Monday to discuss power-producing alternatives.
State Representative and Pennsylvania House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee Chairman Daryl Metcalfe will lead the hearing in Harrisburg beginning at 9:30 a.m.
This hearing is titled “Embracing Pennsylvania’s Energy Potential: Hydrogen Power and Carbon Capture” and will include virtual presentations from representatives of the Pennsylvania Department of Energy, the Department of Community and Economic Development, a gas industry executive, and a union leader.
Monday’s hearing will be streamed live online through Metcalfe’s website.
