Good Friday will be marked with religious ceremonies, but also a number of facilities will be closed.
Many schools utilize the Easter weekend as a time for a spring break so a number of districts are off Good Friday.
The Butler County Government Center is closed Friday.
The Butler Area Public Library is also closed, and will remain closed throughout the weekend for the Easter holiday.
But, festivities will gear up starting Monday for the National Library Week.
