The deadline before federal enforcement of the REAL ID is now six months away.
The policy kick in October 1st. You’ll need a REAL ID to fly a plane domestically or enter a federal building.
So far one million state residents have opted to get a REAL ID and PennDOT says another four million declined to get one or are choosing another form of ID.
Residents can get a REAL ID at any driver license center.
There’s no requirement that Pennsylvania residents get a REAL ID.
