Justin Rose is the first-round leader at the 85th Masters in Augusta, Georgia. He finished his opening round 9-under on the final 10 holes to take a four stroke lead. Rose began the day 2-over, but rallied to shoot a 65. Defending champion Dustin Johnson shot a 2-over 74, ending a streak of 11 consecutive under par rounds at Augusta. Just a dozen players broke par during the opening round.
English golfer Tommy Fleetwood rolled in a hole-in-one during the opening round. He made the 170-yard shot on the par-3 16th hole. It was the second tournament in a row in which the 30-year old Fleetwood hit a hole-in-one, after making one two weeks ago at the Match Play Championship.
