A Pittsburgh teenager is facing charges after allegedly failing to stop for police last weekend in Mercer County.
According to Grove City Police, officers responded to a call about a vehicle driving without headlights on shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday morning.
Police located and attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver, identified as 19-year-old Gaheris Fitzwilliam Kohut, refused to comply. Police say that Kohut was observed to be under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident and he allegedly resisted arrest.
Kohut was booked into the Mercer County Jail and charged with Fleeing and Eluding Police, Resisting Arrest, Driving Under the Influence, and Traffic Offenses.
