The state’s new unemployment system is almost ready to make its debut.
But as the transition takes place, those who file for unemployment need to be aware of some restrictions on when they can use the system.
No new claims can be filed until June 8th—and biweekly claims won’t be accepted from June 3rd through the 8th.
The new software is replacing a system that is 40-years-old.
State officials also added that no one should miss an unemployment payment.
