The Chicago White Sox defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-3 Wednesday afternoon at PNC Park. Adam Frazier, Ke’Bryan Hayes and Bryan Reynolds led the Bucs with two hits each. Chicago snapped a five-game losing streak with the win. The loss dropped the Pirates to 20 games under .500 with a 26-46 overall record.
The Bucs begin a seven-game road trip tonight with the first of four games against the St. Louis Cardinals. First pitch is 8:15pm. Pre-game on WISR 680am will be 7:50pm. Chad Kuhl will start for the Bucs, who are 7-22 this season against teams in the National League Central Division this season. The Cardinals enter the game on a three-game skid.
