A conflict with police last week has resulted in charges against a woman.
According to Butler Township Police, officers were called to the Chilis on New Castle Road around 9:30 p.m. last Saturday for an intoxicated woman allegedly causing a disturbance.
The woman had left the restaurant but police found her walking along the road and identified her as Chelsea Cornetti. When officers attempted to take her into custody, police say that she resisted.
Cornetti allegedly pushed and attempted to strike the officers. Eventually she was taken into custody and booked into the Butler County Prison on charges including aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and public drunkenness.
