Governor Tom Wolf is outlining a plan to help combat littering problems across Pennsylvania.
Wolf unveiled the litter action-plan that he hopes will help clean up the 500 million pieces of litter scattered in the Commonwealth.
“Each and every Pennsylvanian, all of us, has a role to play. When you take the time and care to dispose of your trash properly–and I’m speaking to all my fellow Pennsylvanians here– you’re fighting litter,” Wolf said.
Some of the parts of the plan include more anti-litter campaigns, working with food providers to limit paper straw and disposable utensil usage, and trying to make access to recycling cans and garbage bins easier.
