Motorists in the city of Butler should be aware of a road closure scheduled to begin today.
The Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad will close a portion of South Monroe Street in order to perform maintenance to the railroad crossing.
No traffic will be permitted to cross the tracks in the area between East Cunningham Street and McClain Avenue. Detours will be posted using East Wayne and South McKean Streets.
This closure is expected to continue through next Friday, December 10th weather permitting.
