Pens trade Hollidaysburg native Lafferty to Chicago

The Pens have traded forward Sam Lafferty to the Chicago Blackhawks for Alex Nylander. Lafferty is a native of Hollidaysburg. The 27-year old had two points in 10 games this season, but has failed to regularly crack the Pens lineup. The 23-year old Nylander was a former top-10 pick by the Buffalo Sabres, but has not played in the NHL since the 2019-20 season.
