Donna J. Campbell, age 75, of Butler, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her children following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born July 28, 1946 in Bellevue, PA., she was the daughter of the late Kenneth O. and Joan M. Brunner Broerman. She graduated from Butler Area High School in 1964.
She previously worked at Guest Services at the Clearview Mall. She was a former secretary for Dillon McCandless King Coulter and Graham. She also worked at The Hello Shop in Butler, was a secretary for Center Township and also worked at Nationwide. She was a longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi. She volunteered at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Donna was Roman Catholic and was a member of All Saints Parish, Saint Peter Roman Catholic Church.
On April 29, 1967 she married the love of her life, Joseph A. Campbell. They loved and adored each other, rarely spending time apart. They enjoyed traveling and especially enjoyed going on cruises.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 55 years, Joseph A. Campbell; three children, Karen M. Baker and her husband, Will, of Wexford, Kenneth J. Campbell and his wife, Lynn, of Butler, and Kristi A. Huff and her husband, Mike, of Butler; seven grandchildren, Nathan, Kaitlyn, Owen, Brady, Molly, Joey and Gracie; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Donna loved her family wholeheartedly. She was patient, kind, and caring. Her wisdom, positive attitude and never-ending natural smile will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by two brothers, Denis Broerman and Danny Broerman; one sister, Diane Dancik; and two nephews, Jonathon Broerman and Shawn Dancik.
The family would like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the staff of AHN Cancer Institute-Butler, BHS Palliative Care, and VNA Hospice for their unconditional comfort and compassion for Donna and her family.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, on Thursday, January 20, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 21, at 10:30 am at All Saints Parish, Saint Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler, with Rev. Kevin C. Fazio officiating.
Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
