The Pennsylvania Game Commission will hold its first quarterly meeting of the year today and tomorrow but they will not conduct any official business since they do not have enough members for a quorum.
The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. at the agency’s headquarters in Harrisburg. The board of commissioners will hear staff reports and award presentations. Tomorrow, the board will hear public comment beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The Game Commission currently has three vacant seats on the eight member board so they will not take action like adopting the seasons and bag limits for the upcoming hunting license year. If no quorum is established in time for these actions, the season and bag limits that were adopted last year will roll over with just an adjustment in dates.
Those unable to attend the meetings can watch much of it from home through a livesteam on the Game Commission’s Youtube channel.
