Mars Basketball’s Schlegel and Petruska reach career marks

High School Basketball Saturday:
–The Mars boys defeated Knoch 74-47. Chris Dvorak led the Planets with 18 points. Zach Schlegel netted 15 points, and has gone over 1,000 career points. He is the 12th Mars player to reach that plateau. Knoch’s Ryan Lang led all scorers with 32 points.
Schlegel’s career mark comes in a week that Mars girl’s basketball coach Dana Petruska reached 500 career victories.
