Markets got out to a rough start yesterday, but ultimately showed gains by the closing bell.
We spoke with local financial advisor Howie Pentony, who said that is somewhat typical during a crisis.
“Typically, stocks react positively after all the bad news is out,” Pentony said.
Pentony says the markets are usually able to weather the storm of situations like this.
“Generally, markets always anticipate this stuff and we seem to move through it. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens here,” Pentony said.
The Dow finished up 92 points and the S&P up 63 points.
