Ronald Lee Waldenmyer, age 82, of Jarrell, TX, formerly of Butler; passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 near to his daughters at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV.
Born January 27, 1940 in Butler, he was the son of the late Carl H. and Esther Yost Waldenmyer.
He was a District Manager for 34 years with Woolworth. After their closing, he relocated and worked for Dell Computer in Texas, where he retired.
He was a US Marine Corps Veteran.
Ron attended the Unionville Presbyterian Church.
He was recently honored with a 50 year pin, diploma, and apron for belonging to the Evening Star Masonic Lodge # 75 in Albany, NY.
Along with his wife and family that he loved, he enjoyed rv-ing, camping, hunting, fishing, and doing little projects.
Survived by his wife Jane Tirk Waldenmyer, who he married June 28, 1958; his daughters Debbie Waldenmyer Smith of West Virginia, Wendy Waldenmyer Rea of Butler, Tracey (John) Waldenmyer Saul of Butler, Deanna (Charles) Waldenmyer Morrison of Texas; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, many step grandchildren; and 1 niece and 1 nephew.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson Lincoln L. Smith and his brother Carl H. Waldenmyer.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 10:30am until time of service at 11am, at the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect. The funeral service at 11am in the funeral home will be officiated by Rev. Mathew Kail, pastor of Unionville Presbyterian Church.
Interment with military honors will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.
