Crews responded on the scene of a tractor trailer accident at the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Cranberry Township Monday morning.
It happened just before 8:30 a.m. in the westbound on-ramp of the Turnpike. Dispatchers say the tractor trailer flipped over onto its side.
Hazmat teams were called out as the truck was reportedly carrying white paint which has spilled onto the road.
Traffic will continue to be delayed as that section of road will be closed from 7 p.m. Monday through 5 a.m. Tuesday to allow for guiderail repairs. Detours are expected to take Turnpike drivers onto Route 8 North and Route 228 West.
