Butler boys track team took 10 firsts in recent meet

The Butler Boys Track and Field team brought home 10 first-place finishes at the 2nd annual Butler County Classic over the weekend. Some of their marks have taken over the top spots in state rankings. Drew Griffith won the 1,600-meter run with a state-best time of 4:16.25. Ryder Kriley took the state top spot in an 800-meters win with a time of 1:57.85. Lucas Slear had the second-fastest time in the state in his 400-meters win. Butler won all three relays and two field events.
