Gail E. Arvay, 70, of Saxonburg, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born July 27, 1951, in Butler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Bosko and Evelyn (Kinser) Bosko.
Gail was a graduate of Butler High School, and also received her Bachelors Degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She was a member of Dutilh United Methodist Church in Cranberry Twp. Gail was an avid lover of Newfoundland dogs. She enjoyed reading, shopping, antiquing, and getting her nails done. Above all else, Gail loved spending time with her family; especially with her grandchildren.
Gail is survived by her 3 sons: Randall (Heather) Arvay of Cary, NC, Matthew (Trish) Arvay of Cranberry Twp, PA and Nathan (Heidi) Arvay of Springdale, PA; 8 grandchildren: Aidan, Alex, Anderson, Mila, Leyton, Sydney, Cooper and Skylar; one sister: Pamela (Michael) Phillips of Butler, PA; her loving friend, Den Montgomery of Saxonburg, PA, several nieces and nephews and her beloved Newfoundland, Molly.
In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her sister, Charlene Robinson.
All are invited to attend a visitation for Gail on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM & 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. 124 E. North Street Butler, PA 16001. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 7:00 PM at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. 124 E. North St. Butler, PA 16001 with Pastor Tom Parkinson of Dutilh United Methodist Church officiating.
A private interment will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.
