The Slippery Rock University History, Political Science, and Music Departments are sponsoring a program later this week to educate about the Holocaust.
“Reflections on the Holocaust: Reaching Across an Ocean” is planned for Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center Miller Theater.
This year’s guest speaker will be an educator and volunteer at the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh who is also a child of a Holocaust survivor. This gathering will also include a musical performance of flute and piano.
The speaker will also give her presentation Thursday morning at Slippery Rock Area and Grove City Area High Schools. The Slippery Rock University Holocaust Remembrance Program is presenting this free event open to the public.
