A gun supplier in Prospect is suing the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives after the agency sent a cease and desist letter to the business in order to stop selling “ghost guns.”
JSD Supply filed the suit last week saying that the ATF and President Biden have exceeded their authority and the 2nd Amendment with this order.
Ghost guns have become a primary discussion in the gun debate. These firearms can be assembled from parts and do not have serial numbers.
Opponents of the ghost guns say they are hard to track and lead to more crime. Advocates say any crackdown on the guns is an infringement of the 2nd Amendment.
