Slippery Rock University has released details regarding this summer’s camps for kids.
Kids ages 7 through 12 can attend various summer day camps at the Macoskey Center for Sustainability Education and Research as well as the Storm Harbor Equestrian Center.
Four sets of three day camps from 8 a.m. to noon begin on June 27th and run into the second week of August. Themes include Farm to Fork, Nature Explorers, and Nature Art.
Separate day-long camps in July and August will split between mornings with horses at the Equestrian Center followed by afternoons at the Education Center. All camps will be led by SRU graduate and undergraduate students.
Camp costs start at $90 per student, with family discounts for siblings but space is limited. Registration and full descriptions are available on the SRU website.
