The public is invited to enjoy an outdoor activity at Moraine State Park later this week.
A kayaking adventure called Explore Offshore will be presented on Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the McDanel’s Launch Area on the North Shore.
Participants on this nature-based paddle will learn basic kayak tips as park staff lead an exploration of the lake and local wildlife. This activity is for ages 12 and older with life jackets required.
Kayaks and gear will be provided or those planning to attend can bring their own. Pre-registration for this event is required by calling the park office.
