David A. “Dave” Krumpe, 84, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at his residence.
Born October 22, 1937 in North Bessemer, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph P. Krumpe and Edith A. (Carsey) Krumpe.
Dave was a graduate of Winfield-Clinton High School. After graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1963. Dave worked as coal miner at the Newfield Mine and was a self-employed welder for a number of years before retiring in 1999. He was also a member of the Northern Masonic Temple.
Dave is survived by his wife, Denise (DiGiacomo) Krumpe, whom he married on May 22, 2017; twin sons: David of Sarver, PA and Mark and his wife Linda of New Castle, PA; 3 daughters: Beth of North Carolina, Lisa of Cabot, PA and Dawn of Sarver, PA; 2 step-children: Adrian and his wife Nikki of Morgantown, WV and Kelly of San Diego, CA; his sister: Rose Marie of Florida; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his brother, Ken Krumpe.
Per his wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
