A hearing will be held later this morning to learn more about ways to combat veteran homelessness.
Local State Senator Joe Pittman will be hosting the joint hearing in Pittsburgh at the Veterans Place on Washington Boulevard at 10:30 a.m.
A group of members from the VA and other veteran-based organizations will be participating in the hearing.
Pittman’s office says he hopes to learn more about the progress being made in the fight against veteran homelessness along with other improvements that could still be made.
