The Pittsburgh Steelers begin training camp practices today at 1:55pm at St. Vincent College in Latrobe. Two players will begin camp on the sidelines. Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, who recently signed a $72 million contract, suffered an injured wrist after falling off a bike and was placed on the non-football injury list. Tyson Alualu has a knee injury and will begin camp on the physically unable to perform list.
The Steelers have released running back Trey Edmunds and signed veteran running back Jeremy McNichols. He has played previously with Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, Jacksonville and Tennessee. The five-year veteran has a total of 364 yards and one touchdown in his career.
